jca, I've been very happy with the NAP 2000 and 4000 drop aways. Not too hard to set up and adjust. I prefer the 4000 for the micro adjustments.

really it depends on what you want.

If you want a total containment rest then the Shoot Out is hard to beat. It gives complete fletching clearance something the WB and Funnel rest can't. It also holds your arrow & it will not fall off, great for super cold weather tree stand hunting.

If you want a fall away then the Mirage, or Golden Premier Fall away are very hard to beat. The Mirage is a little better for hunting while the GPFA is an ultra precise model but a little better for the 3-D shooter or hunter looking for total control of their arrow flight. you can gain a lot with these rests, a reduction in how torque affects your shooting, you can use large helical fletch on carbons. The mirage is fast loading & easy to get a second shot off fast.

If you want an ultra adjustable rest that is rock solid & works great then the Golden Premier or Silent Hunter are 2 of the best out there. The GP is my all time fav rest & I have a lot of faith in this one!

If you want just a good old rest that is economical then look at the GKF EZ-Tune 100 hard to beat the features and performance for the money.

as you can see many designs are out there, all have an advantage & disadvantage. You just need to figure out what you want to do then match the rest to it.

jca,

JMO, but the Pro Tuner is the best rest going. Especially for carbons.

All of the rests mentioned are good rests and I have tried many of them. If I had tried the Muzzy 0 effect to begin with, I would be a little richer and not have a box full of rests.Every day I shoot it, I'm more impressed than the day before. I would not shoot any other. It has made me a better shot. I didn't realize how much my bad shots were effected by my rest until I got the Muzzy.

I agree with all the reats that Moonge suggested, although id like to add the GK Infinity, ive been shooting this rest for a year now and have been nothing but very happy with it. It is very easy to make precise micro adjustments with as the superior design does not need any locking nuts to secure it after adjustments, and it has never move. It is very well made and is in my oppinion the best release aid rest available.

I'm not sure if your talking for hunting or target, but for hunting I really think its hard to beat a Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter.

Good Luck!

Quicktune 3000, hard to beat,I would compare it to the best micro-adj rest on the market, and it would equal or outperform, the 1000 is junk the 4000 is a drop away, haven't used it.
