RE: arrow rests
really it depends on what you want.
If you want a total containment rest then the Shoot Out is hard to beat. It gives complete fletching clearance something the WB and Funnel rest can't. It also holds your arrow & it will not fall off, great for super cold weather tree stand hunting.
If you want a fall away then the Mirage, or Golden Premier Fall away are very hard to beat. The Mirage is a little better for hunting while the GPFA is an ultra precise model but a little better for the 3-D shooter or hunter looking for total control of their arrow flight. you can gain a lot with these rests, a reduction in how torque affects your shooting, you can use large helical fletch on carbons. The mirage is fast loading & easy to get a second shot off fast.
If you want an ultra adjustable rest that is rock solid & works great then the Golden Premier or Silent Hunter are 2 of the best out there. The GP is my all time fav rest & I have a lot of faith in this one!
If you want just a good old rest that is economical then look at the GKF EZ-Tune 100 hard to beat the features and performance for the money.
as you can see many designs are out there, all have an advantage & disadvantage. You just need to figure out what you want to do then match the rest to it.
