Default Add cable twist (shorten) equals..??

Ok - so if you twist down the cable (shorten) it that increases peak weight and draw length right?

So by taking a twist or 2 out (lengthen) it decreases peak weight and decreases draw length???

I'm asking because after 40 or 50,000 rounds I replaced my Winners Choice string & cables on my Pro-38 and the draw length feels about 1/4 too long & I'd like to shorten it up a tad... It's a spot bow (now) so speed/weight isn't an issue.

If I've got that formula wrong could someone correct me..???

Thanks!!

huntmup, twist the string, draw length decreases. Untwist the cable, draw weight decreases. If it's a single cam, you may need to change both to keep the cam optimized.

So I can increase the draw weight on BK II to over 70 lbs by twisting the cables?

Good judgment comes from years of bad judgment.
