Default Need Help my be a stupid question

I was waxing my bowstrings andlooking at my bow yesterday, Martin Prowler SE and noticed my cable guide or that little black thing my cables slide through that is situated on that black barmoves . Is this normal? I have never paid attention to it.

If you mean that it slides back and forth that is normal. As you draw the bow it will slide back towards you and then forward as you release. If that is not the kind of movement you mean, please describe.

its not a stupid question if something didn;t look right on my bow then i would be asking questions too but it does excatly what txjourneyman said

As you can probably see, as you draw the bow, the limb tips move horizontally which in turn pulls the string and cable back horizontally causing your cable slide to move back.
