Default Increasing draw weight myself?

My girlfriend needs her poundage upped, but the closest place to get it done is still quite a drive. Can I do it myself with an allen wrench? I read that a full turn increases it 4 pounds. Can I do this to each limb bolt or will it screw something up doing it myself? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You turn each limb bolt the same amount. Very easy to do. Each turn raises the weight about 3# on most modern bows.

Go for it. Now if you really want to learn how to do things yourself tear the bow completely apart, throw everything on a pile in the middle of the floor, and then put it all back together again.

it's pretty simple, just make sure to turn them equally, and i was always told not to turn one more than one complete turn without turning the other. just watch that you don't go over the suggested max draw weight of your bow. get it on a scale to double check it asap.

I always turn them in about 1//4 of a turn each time, 1 fullturn usually ='s about 3lbs. I prefer to turn each one 1/4 turn, check the draw, if its stillnot high enough give each another 1/4 turn, and so on untill the draw weight expected is achieved.

Tip: take a pencil and mark the starting point on each bow limb and bolt. That way you can achieve a near perfect adjustment.
