First of all WELCOME! This has been a good place for me to learn and it could be for you as well.
What is your bow? How is it set up? How fast does it shoot? There could be many variables. I know a few guys that only use one pin for 10-20-30yd shots. If your bow is fast enough that is all you need. Thats why there are so many single pin sights available. Tell us a little more about your rig.

i have a bowtech generation 3 with a trophy ridge flatliner sight, and according to my local dealer my poundage is around 65 pounds. so it shoots pretty fast

I have never heard of a BowTech Generation 3, but BowTech's are known for their speed. The lack of arrow drop probably is the cause, which is a good thing.

Sounds like you have a flat shooting bow. Don't worry about the other pins and just use one. Plus, the less pins, the less confusion you have on which one to use when the big buck comes out.
