Default Just bought a...........

Brand new left over 05' camo Old Glory. I don't have it yet but should be picking it up tomorrow or Wednesday. I was wanting an 06' but the 05's are just as fast and the price on this was waaaaay too good to pass on.

This bow will only be used for HC at the IBO and ASA events I am attending this year. I really find myself struggling with the shorter Allegiancefor precision shooting, and honestly I don't think I need the 312fps I am getting out of the Allegiance to be competitive from the HC stakes. I am hoping to get 295fps out of the Old Glory w/ my 346 grain pro 22's at 69lbs which will be plenty fast.I will be setting it up with another TKO target model rest w/ the .010 blade, my 12" AEP stabilizer, and a sword acu-site micro 3rd plane w/ the .010 pins and small guard (I know gibblets cringing..lol). I really love everything about my spot hogg, but the level is waaaay too small for me to be able to subconsciously watch it through my shot sequence.....this is a critical part of 3D IMHO with all the crappy footing you are forced to shoot from sometimes and a major shortcoming of the spot hogg.

The Allegiance is already sold, I will be buying another bow specifically for hunting w/ later this year instead of trying to make the Allegiance work for double duty as a HC and hunting bow. I figured I can't have enough of these darn things anyhow......[8D]. I am guessing a tribute is next up for my hunting specific bow.....may have to get one of those soon w/ turkey season coming up. I think the Old Glory will be a bit long for use out of the blind.

Anyhow, I will post up pics and other stuff when I get it all figured out and dialed in.

Also......anyone happen to have a set of E7 05' binaries and a shrewd grip laying around that they want to sell?

After reading Frank's excellent review of this bow, I'm sure you're gonna be one happy camper over your choice! Congrads!
