Default new string on mathews

I need to get a new string on my 2003 Legacy. Do you recommend new cables at the same time that you replace the string? Everything is original.

Thanks

Yea go ahead and get new cables at the same time. Then everything can break in at the same rate.

PM gibblet, he makes some very nice strings at a very nice price.

yes put both on, you will be better off & then you can easily keep track of the age.

i'd say order both for 1 specific reason. the strings/cables that came on that bow have probably grown. to get that bow in spec, if you replaced the string only with one the right length for that bow (not the length on the sticker), you may have to twist the existing cable beyond what's reasonable - with the twists getting up into the yoke - to time the cam.

Thanks for the inputs. I will go ahead and replace both. Gibblet I would be interested in your products if I didn't have a gift certificate for the local archery shop...I have read nothing but good things about the quality of your strings...
