Then play it safe and take it into your local shop ,buy the peep off of him and have him install it for you and your good to go.
My hunting buddy use's the Extreme VFT and it's a great bow ,he shoot's the Behman Black Max 400's with it .

Is that screwdriver trick hard on your bow?? Could that backfire on a guy? Sounds like that could work however

Not if you let down slowly

Could that backfire on a guy?
Like I said in my earlier post I have not done it with a solo cam bow so I dont know.

Sounds like that could work however
I have done that trick many times in an emergency situation with dual cam bows whilst in the woods but now I carry a portable bow press behind the seat of my truck.

Just buy yourself a portable press. I have a bowmaster and it works great and was very cheap. Then you won't be chasing proshops every time you need a twist or reoplace a string.

This is what the tool looks like.. I would still be leery of it, nothing beats a bow press. I don't know what is the best portable press out there for your bow.. You can find them on line easy.

man, that makes me uneasy.

if nubo said it would work, that's double reason not to do it.
