I've heard "thru the grapevine" that the OEM string on the Diamond Victory isn't the highest quality string.
I've only had it since September and it's show alot of wear already.

I've had My Victory for about 9 months and the string and cable looks great and hasn't moved at all. I keep all my strings waxed very well though. My wife dosen't do as much waxing as I do and it shows on her bows
A hunting bow is carried much more than shot during the season. The string rubbing on your clothing and brush can make it look bad in one day if you're not careful. I've seen some hunter's strings look like yarn!!!
