I shot spitfires this year at 68 pounds and had mixed emotions about them. They leave killer blod trails and fly very true BUT I was a little off on shot placement on a deer and hit its should and the arrow hit and fell out. Not the best on penetration. Go with a fixed. One thing I do know is the guys on this forum won't steer you wrong they know there stuff.

Alot of wise advise here. I agree, stay away from mechanicals with
your set up.
