So you agree that the new Hoyts are the best bows in the world. While this isn't a Spelling Bee, it is helpful to other members if you post replies that can actually be read.

I am not a Hoyt fanatic. I have used a PSE and thought it was a good bow. Mathews is also a good bow. But, the new Hoyt beats them hands down. It is just that good. I've done my research and I bought the best.

That new Hoyt is a Switchback wannabe. They never even thought of parallel limbs until the Switchback came out and they sold a million of them. By the way, both are hunting bows not target bows. If you want the best target bow buy yourslf a Mathews Conquest Apex 7, that bow has won more tournaments that all other brands combined.

Just 1 question, (I am nowguessing the hoyt I referred to is the Trykon) Doesn't it look very much like the Switchback???? Wonder where they came up with that cool lookingdesign???;-)

Maybe if you had a little more posts I would give you some credit, but even last years Mathews bow beats the the Tykron. I am not sure where you did your homework, must have come straight from the Hoyt USA website, but everyone will give the nod to the XT or SB. Some of the local shooters around here, Hoyt fanatics think the Tykron is the "best" bow Hoyt has made, but not the best on the market right now. Draw cycle is harsh, the bow jumps after the shot, it might have no vibration in the grip, but those 2 things jumped out to me. I am not someone who would not buy a bow for it having vibration in the grip, I could care less, but it is the other not so suttle characteristics that jump to my attention.It is not about how fast the bow, or anything like that. It is not the bow killing the animals, it is the person shooting it. I could shoot an super slow High Country that is about 40" ATA and weighs about 5lbs, and still kill deer with it.

If you think that the new Hoyt beats them hands down, you obviously have not shot the new SB XT, because there is no comparison. My LX can beat the Tykron hands down......;)

According to stats from FITA, NFAA, NAA, ASA, and IBO tournament circuit results, the Hoyt grabbed 49 first place wins compared to Mathews with only 21. And, I have shot both the Trykon and the new Mathews. I've also shot the old Mathews that everyone is so crazy about. I thought they were overrated. My opinion isn't based on just product loyalty, but actual shooting.
