Arrow Length
This year I bought a new bow (a Reflex Grizzly), and made the switch from aluminum to carbon arrows.
I purchased a dozen carbon arrows from Cabela’s and they are full length, 32” and I have a 28” draw length.
I would like to cut them off to 29”, but I don’t have the $ to invest in an arrow cutoff tool, so I was thinking of using my dremel tool with a cutoff wheel. My concern is that I won’t get a nice straight end and that will throw off the seating of the inserts.
Does anyone have any tips on how I can cut them off accurately?
Should I leave them alone and just use them at 32” or does the extra 3” really make that much of a difference in spine and accuracy?
Any clues?
