Default my release had a nice lunch this week

my eagle (copperjohn) wore my loop out in only 4days of shooting it i drew back and my arrow sailedin tothe yard i thought i hit the trigger...so iput another arrow on and same thing it wore out the lopp so smalll that the lopp fits threw the crack ..but theyre fixing the problem on all the eagle ...new dsgins

Check your d-loop and make sure it's not fraying. Mine did that (d-loop) a little bit ago. I have just a simple tru-ball release. I pulled it back, and because the d-loop had frayed just a little bit the release couldn't hold onto it and I busted myself in the mouth.[:'(] Just thought I would let you know.

You should replace those string loops periodically even if it isnt frayed. Dont mess around.
