Actually it really *is* cam timing.
Problem is mostdumbass bowshop workersstarted using the incorrect term of "timing" when they meant "synchronization", years and years ago.....
Look up the AMO/ATA definition.
*All*cam systems have to be timed..One cams have nothing to be *synchronized* with (no other cam) and that was thier claim to fame.
You'll notice Mathews always uses the correct term of "synch" in their marketing. Most other companies do not, either out of ignorance, or because they don't want to confuse people becausethe masses areonly familiar with the incorrect terminology (propogated by said people who don't know the correct terminology)
