Got my first modern bow...Finally!!!
Bought a BowTech Stalker on Wednesday. What a difference between it and my old bows! I am going back to school right now (to become an ER nurse) and money is super tight. So after a few carefully thought out compromises and the nod from the wife <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle> I managed to get my whole setup for under $440.00. I am so stoked!!! Unfortunately the MZE and TR sight didn't fit into my budget!
Here it is:
BowTech Stalker 65# 29in. draw
Whisker Biscuit drop-tine rest
North American Archery (Wal-Mart special $12.95) stabilizer. It actually works pretty good!
Cobra Phantom sight (not a better sight for $20.00, also at Wal-Mart)
Pick-A-Peep
Limb Savers, String Leeches, and cable dampeners

Looks like a good set up ro me. Although I will say the lite site from tru glow for $19.00 is best sight for money, I like the three sizes of pins on it. Hey Walmart carries some good products at fair price. Good luck on nursing move, you get that rn license and the money will come. The demand for male nurses is unbeilable. If I had to do all over that is what I would have done.
