I was thinking of trying a trophy ridge sight, but after seeing alot of the posts on here, I have decided to stay away from them until they get some of the issues straightened out.I have narrowed it down to either a copper john dead nuts, or a spot-hogg hunter sight. Which one do you all like, and if you have used either one then give me some feed back? Thanks to all, and have a great season. BHunter32

BHunter32, I have no experience with the Spot Hoggs, but have 2 Copper Johns. They're well made, durable sights. I have the pros with .019 pins. The only thing I had to do is replace the washers under the screws that hold the pin guard on. These also are the gang adjustment screws. I installed thicker steel washers. The aluminum ones became misshapen when tightened. PSE makes a light that will fit, if needed. The pin guard is huge, a real plus, I think. Overall, CJ makes a very good sight in the Dead Nuts.

BHunter32 - similar to pdq 5oh, I have a one-sided view...
I've never used the Copper Johns, but I do have a pair of Spot-Hogg Hogg-It's. I'm not certain exactly what model you are referring to but my assumption is the "Hunter Hogg-It". (I don't think they have just a 'hunter' model)
The Hogg-It (and Hunter Hogg-It) are AWESOME. Period.
They have 2nd & 3rd axis adjustment, gang AND individual pin widage AND elevation adjustments, a level, a ROUND pin guard lined with bright stuff which works AWESOME on a ROUND peep - it allows a super-duper lineup with your peep.
I have no doubt the Copper John is a good site - BUT - In MY opinion I don't think it's better than a Hogg-It (or Hunter Hogg-It).
That's why I own 2 of them (two Hogg-It sights that is)
Also - I've talked to the Spot-Hogg about tech issues & they've been awesome.
They also offer tritrium pins, .019 or .029 fiber, small or large pin guards, custom pin combinations, a spacer plate if your configuration needs it, and a ton of other stuff. I personally don't like red pins - so I have Yellow/Green/Yellow/Green/Yellow - the yellow seems brighter at dusk/daybreak & I like it @ 20 yards!
Finally - I wear I have no affilation with ANY sight company<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

the copper john & spot hogg are both good products. I was in the market for a new sight & looked at both, in the end I went with an unexpected sight I had not really looked at. I got the Toxonics Hybrid V with the 5" dovetail. it is a great sight & the quality is super!
