I just got my arrows in GT 5575 now what to fletch them in ? with a 3 blade broadhead (sonic 100 gr) set 3 vanes perfectly in line with the baldes of the broadhead; but with a 4 blade broadhead (slick trick) do you still fletch with 3 vanes or go to 4 vanes to keep the broadhead in line with the fletch? but what style of fletch to use is the delema?.

lining the blades up w/ the fletchings does not make one bit of difference. It's an old wives tail...

Lining up the vanes with the broadheads is an old wives tail. It makes absolutely no differance what so ever.

Sit down and think about the math envolved and all of the variables you would have to control to get the fletching to fly through the same air as the blades did.

Here are just a few variables for you...... Wind speed, wind direction, ammount of helical, speed of arrow, length of vanes, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, etc... etc...

Now just as soon as one of these changes, like the wind, all of the calculations you would have had to do would be for nothing.

I am in agree ment with KBacon. The only thing I would like to add is the fletching if to small will not get good flight with blades.

You won't regret the slick tricks. I shoot the 125's and IMHO there isn't another broadhead that comes close to matching the performance of the slick trick.
