Search forum function does not work?

I've tried the search from several computers, for several keywords, using several dates older than 30 days and have yet to experience a single problem. Can someone elaborate a bit more on what's happening when you try to search? Are you getting some sort of error message? Possibly a timeout error? Is it not doing anything at all? I need more info.

I get an error with any forum search I try, unless I'mvery specific or I adjust the date.
I think too many hits for the search word are causing the error message. If you get the error, try adjusting the date range or searching specific forums.
