Default antelope mount

I had an pronghorn mounted last year and when I got it back and the horns were swelled up above the prongs. The taxidermist said they shrunk above and below the swelling causing this swelling. He also said he put them in a microwave oven to loosen the horn from the core. Has anyone heard of this methiod? He claims to be a master taxidermist. I would like to register a complaint to the board that license taxidermists but don't know where to start. any one have suggestions?

I really don't understand what you mean, but yes, the microwave is a very common method to remove the horns from the cores.
