I was wondering if it's possible to tell the age of a deer by looking only at the antlers. I found one shed half of what I assume to be a 12 pointer and am trying to figure out how old it is. If any one knows how please let me know...Thanks!

You need the jawbone to be able to tell.

not by the horns.

Deer have antlers, not horns.

not by the antlers at all. you need the Jaw.
