Default Price?

Hey guys, I am going to Quebec on a bear hunt next May and I was just wondering what my options are taxidermy wise on a bear. I figure rugs are the most popular way to go, and I was just wondering about the price range I was looking at spending to have a rug done, or if anyone has any suggestions for a mount other then the full body mount. Thanks guys.

Probably around $150/foot for a high quality rug, so they're not cheap. You'll find some cheaper, but they usually aren't as good of quality. Make sure the hide is sewn to the felt and not glued.

I have had a couple rugs made, and one life size mount. The place I use is incredible. The last bear I had done was killed on Aug 19th. I had the full mount done in the first week of Dec. They're always that fast...it wasn't a fluke. They sew their rugs and everything is high quality. Their price is $79/foot for a rug, plus $100 to skin out the feet/head completely. My cousin just had a monster black bear done there. It was over 6', and his total was just under $650. Not too shabby, if you look around.

They also do their own tanning, so nothing has to leave their premesis. Saves time and $$$.

They're in far western Ohio...Almost in Indiana.

Here's the link to their site...and NO I don't work for them. LOL They're just good at what they do.
