wet tan to dry tan?

Default wet tan to dry tan?

I have a wet tan Coon and i want to make a coon hat so umm is there a way to turn this wet tan coon into a dry tan one so i can cut it up into a hat?

Yes, it is easy to turn a wet tan to a dry tan. Thaw it out, reoil it, let it hang and dry while streching it, when it it gets dry enough retumble it in sawdust, let it dry a littlte more then retumble it in finish sawdust. If you dont have a tumbling drum take it to a tannery, they shouldnt charge much because most of the work has already been done.
