This fall my buddy and I are going to do an antelope hunt. We will be camping while we hunt. The question is what do we need to do to keep the hide in good condition after we shoot one while we are there. Ice? salt?

Cape,split ears, lips and remove all meat, salt twice, put in burlap bag, get to taxidermist ASAP. Good Luck.
