Default Taxi Guys Help Me Out

This year is my first year turkey hunting and i was wondering if i were to shoot a tom and wanted to get it mounted--full body (perch, gobbling) something along those lines, after i shoot and recover the bird what will i do to get the meat out, or it that impossible, if it is i am fine with it just let me know, and is there anything i can do to keep from the birds feathers breaking? like cardboard and on the tail fan and the wings? thanks guys really apperciate it

Don't attempt to remove the meat. Here is a good set of instructions for shipping a bird, but they work equally well for storing in your freezer.
