Default 35% peroxide question

Where do I get it? Is it the stuff at the drug store because it didn't have the % on it, (i.e. "Kroger Hydrogen Peroxide") or do I have to order it and if so what website? I want to use it for euro mounts, some one a while back on this forum said to remove all the meat, eyes, brains, lower jaw, and let it sit in it for 2 weeks, clean, and than repeat as needed. Thank you for all and any info, happy new year!

i have done 8 euro mounts and i learn more each time. but the best place to get 35% is a beauty supply shop. just be careful with it can hurt eyes and skin.

Yes, heed the warnings on the 35% stuff, wear gloves and saftey glasses.

Just a dropand itwill turn the skin snow white and will irritate/burn it. Like already posted, beauty suppliesand also industrial chemical supplies, it;s also used as a water sanitizer.

My wife owns a salon, she says at least here in PA you have to have a license to purchase from a salon supply store, not sure about all states. She also says it's not 35 %, it's 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 volume....and she also says to heed the warnings.

35% peroxide is pharmiscutical grade. You can't use it straight when bleaching bones or skull you need to delute it down. It will deslove or breakdown delicate bones. Depending on the thickness of the bones. I delute mine down to about 15% for buffelo skulls and let them sit in it for about 3 days then let them dry for a couple of weeks. If they need a second bleaching I do one. As for the peroxide you get at the store, it is usually 3-5%
