Here is one I did for a set of sheds my brother found. I get alot of compliments on it in my shop. I think it turned out great for my first try at a pedestal!!! Doug

deerhunterpy... that's an awesome mount... saw it over on Taxidermy.net also. Which form did you use? I think I'm leaning towards the McKenzie HD pedestal.. unless I find one that I like better.

I believe it was the Mckenzie 8800 wall pedestal and I carved out the back to make it a standing pedestal!!! I do have a website www.bucksnbeardsllc.com . Thanx for the compliments. I have been doing taxidermy for about 5 yrs now and was lucky enough to have a great teacher to start me in the right direction. I have been trying it full time for 3 yrs and really enjoy the work. You guys think that looks good...You should see it in person..Doug(Deerhunterpy) is mouting my deer as we speak. He does truly amazing work. My best friend shot a 179 incher last year and had Doug do the work on it.. It looks absolutley amazing. If you can somehow get to SE kansas for taxidermy work I would surely recommend Doug.
