Start to finish---three weeks---but that is only if there is nothing to do.I have most of my work come in within a four to five month period and nothing gets mounted, then I am only skinning, salting, tanning skins and doing paper work. Then I order forms and material then it's "first in - first out" but I have other items that come in all year and that slows down the process. My turn around time is now 3-4 months.

One of our very good locals has at least a 2 year wait on deer.
I waited a year and a half for a bear.
Another local only has a 7 month wait, but she only takes on a fraction of of the volume the other guy does.

My return time has hovered right around that 2 yr period as well. Im sure glad theres guys who think like the previous post above me or we would be even longer! Im also certainly glad theres enough guys out there who see something in our work worth waiting 2 years for as well, otherwise me and others wouldnt be that far out on return dates! Its all about what the customer is looking for, and his priorities of theprocess.
