Default pheasant mounting...

while deer hunting this season i found 2 wild ringnecks.....and want one on the wall...and want to learn to mount myself a little bit.....i know it takes knowledge, time ect......but im young i got time! and time to learn.....i dont expect showcase quality mounting or anything.....but vandykes sells a kit with a video and everything you need to mount a pheasant for like 40bucks.....not bad......and they rate their kits 1-4 or 5...i being easy........they rate it as 2...along with a turkey fan......i MADE my own turkey fan mount....mounted the fan and beard myself really easy....can skin game pretty easily.......so its not like i dont know ANYTHING.....i was just wondering how hard it will be to do with that kit? maybe someone would be so kind to tell me how its done......how would you skin it? leave the wings and tail attached to the skin just clip them off and get out as much meat and such as i can?? i never really skinned a bird.....i know the skin comes off easy and its pretty thin......thats why i usually just rip it off.....but think i can do it right if i tried.....any tips....comments.....advice.....knowledge?? thanks guys.....maybe tomarrow ill go see if i cant bag me one or both of them birds!...the one i seen had a big long tail....he would look awesome.....the other one has to be atleast 2years old.....they didnt stock that area since last year.....see if i cant put them up tomarrow maybe.....foul weather right now.....im not going out if its still freezing raining and sleeting!
