I am a firm beleiver in you pay for what you get, My best friend is a full time taxidermist and does competitions, he starts his at $525 and then adds extras such as open mouth, form alterations, antler work if needed.

Not very much..that's why I learned how to do taxidermy work back in the 60's I couldn't afford to have someone else do it. Never have gone in business..just do my own stuff.

Guess I am real lucky. I am a good friend of my taxidermist so he just charges me cost of supplies. Deer shoulder mounts usaully cost me about $80(norm. $350)bear cost me like $200(norm $800-900)turkey cost me around $125.(norm $400).
