Default want german wirehaired pointer?

my old neighbor let me have his gwp because he was getting too old too hunt him.had the dog only for one season before he died.but myself and my wife really loved that dog and would like too find another. does anybody know where i could find a descent gwp in a 500 to 800 mile radius from southern ohio.i know their not popular around here and i mostly herd of them out west.so any information would be greatly appreciated

I know about his dogs, but have never hunted over one -- but from everything I know and have heard about them, his GWPs are some of the finest hunting companions you will find. Tell Dennis that Doc sent you.
