Well, I myself am a treedog man, but a fine german shorthaired pointer showed up the other day and I've been feeding him and looking for the owner...Problem is, if I can't find an owner, I'll end up wanting him.
I don't know if I can afford another dog here in college (my other dog is an original mountain cur...squirrel dog). However, I want to know what kind of health issues gsp's are prone to. Any at all? He's a great dog, loads up and retrieves a bone, don't know what he'd do in the field, but my guess is someone has got to be looking for this dog. However, this town is small and there's been no reports since I found the dog on Friday. Around here, there is usually some noise about something like this. Oh well, I'll keep looking and calling. If nobody claims him, I guess I'll be a birddog man, too

Haha...I'd be sending you this old birddog before I could part with Remington, Treedog...
I think you got your hands full with Ginger. I bet she's as rascally as ever at this age. - MIKE
