Default Damn Ticks!!!!

I thought I'd get the word out .. with the warm spell we've had in the Northeast, the tick's are out in force! I came in from a workout with my Springer and all of her white patches looked speckled with all the deer ticks on her. I picked over 40 off of her. I don't usually put the Frontline on till the end of March .. but I have to start early this year.

For those who don't usually start Frontline till later, you may want to think again if you live in New England.

Thanks for the input Jay..I live in NH and have checked my dog each time he goes into the woods. Because he had ticks real bad last Fall, we have been keeping him treated with a monthly dose of Advantix and that seems to work well. I know you may have a tick problem far worse than we do. My MA hunting buddies tell me of the ticks they see on the deer that they shoot. By the way, I also have a Springer...2yrs old (in May) male.
