be careful with any pyrethins!! they work great as insecticides, however, they can be toxic if a dog or cat gets exposed to too much at one time!!

one of these days i will learn how to post everything i want to say on one post!! there is a lyme disease vaccine on the market. I have not used it enough to know how effective it is, however i am sure it would at least minimize symptoms if given properly. ask your vet. if your dog is exposed to lots of ticks, it would definitely be worthwhile.
