Default Plans For Spring & Summer ?

Now that most hunting if over for the season, what are your "dog plans"
for Spring and Summer ?
We are getting our HRC Hunt Test schedule figured out.
Early March = weekend test in Southern CA
Early April = weekend test near the WA coast
Late April = weekend test near Portland OR
Late May = weekend test near Eugene OR
Early June = weekend test near Seattle WA
Late June = (possible) weekend test in Portland OR
Late July = 4-day test near Butte MT

Don't know about August yet.
We may run some NAHRA and AKC -- depends on the above schedule.

Going to be a very fun "off-season" from hunting.

It sounds like you have an exciting lineup of events planned for the spring and summer months! Participating in HRC Hunt Tests across various locations will undoubtedly provide valuable experiences for you and your dogs.

Your schedule is well thought out, with tests spanning from Southern California to Montana, offering diverse terrains and challenges for your dogs to navigate. It's fantastic to see your dedication to continued training and testing during the off-season, which will undoubtedly contribute to your dogs' development and success in future hunts.

Exploring different test venues and formats, such as NAHRA and AKC, adds further variety and opportunities for growth. It's great that you're keeping your options open and flexible based on your HRC schedule.

Overall, it sounds like you're in for a fulfilling and eventful off-season filled with training, testing, and bonding with your dogs. I wish you the best of luck in your upcoming HRC Hunt Tests and any additional events you decide to participate in.

Enjoy the journey, and may you and your dogs achieve great success together!

Warm regards,
