The Joys of a Pointing Lab
#1
It's great to have a dog that does it all.
Here is Tucker and his take from last weekend.
11 Ducks and a limit of 10 (wild) Quail
Actually, ol' Casey boy retrieved two of the ducks and three of the quail, but at age 13, he was ready for a nap when I took the picture.

Labs are amazing dogs after you get passed their "Bull Heads"
I've seen only one pointing lab at work and was not impressed. You seem to have some good ones. I hunted labs for years and loved their flushing and bird finding abilities. I just can't understand why you would want one to point.
Looks like a great day hunting and an even longer day processing the game.

as most know, i like labs. pointing lab is nice.
only fault i saw with my labs over 46 yrs is they cant take heat well.
with the warmer months now going on longer, its problem.
but doc e conditions his dogs more than i ever did.
i switched to small munsterlander for hunting and it was great move.
but i will still have lab in my life .
