I just got a new springer pup and i would really like to train it to piont any buddy no how?

Pointing is not something you teach, it is instict. All people do is enhance it. A ESS is not a "pointing" breed, not to say they wont point. just get a wing on a stick and let him chase it, dont let him catch it though, and see what he does

My last dog was Golden Retriever and he pointed. My current dog is a mutt half Lab half Rhodesian Ridgeback and he points to. I have seen Utube videos of 2 month old pups pointing which is cute.

Pointing is NOT a trained behavior --- it's genetic.
When you train a dog to "point", it's called 'standing game' -- not pointing.
