What can I expect to pay to have my setter trained to hunt birds? I got a quote from a respectable kennel in northeast PA for $25 per day (6-8 weeks) plus birds. Does this seem like a reasonable price? Also, anyone have any recommendations for trainers in southeastern PA?

I would expect to pay anywhere from 75-125 a week. I know of two trainers one near Sommerset and the other in Butler County. Both are very good trainers and at a good price. If you would like to have contact numbers PM me and i would be happy to give them to you. good luck
