what kind of dogg to get
#2
If that is all that you are going to be hunting with it, then i suggest a Lab or a chesapeke Bay Retreiver. I have never hunted a Chessie, butI have heard nothing but great things about them. I have hunted over several labs and I can't take anything away from them either. I guess for this, it is just a matter of preferance.
Good luck.

A few suggestions for every prospective dog owners.
1. Look to the parents. If the parents are hunters and they seem to fit you then the litter will probably too.
2. Don't take the first puppy from the first litter you see. Do your homework. Puppies are a big selling advertisement.
3. Ask for references of previous litter owners.
4. Don't buy from a puppy mill. Hobby breeders are okay.
