Well, I used'ta feed em NutroMax for Active dogs. Breeder recommended it.
But now that Penny (7yrs) is entering middle age and Gordons have a knack for developing crystals in their urine, I feed her an Rx food from the Vet. If anybody knows another food that reduces the crystals I would be game. The Rx cost about $40/month. She's worth every cent though.

I feed mine Good Dog (24/16 red bag). This is the best I have found in a long time. Tried Ol Roy & Purina, but the Good Dog seems to maintain their weight better with a smaller amount of food. Also costs a little less per 50 lb bag which pays off when feeding about 100 lbs each week.

The only problem with Kibbles and Bits is that the dogs litter the yard very bad. A better food makes less waste as the dog absorbs more of the nutrients so I have heard. I have heard good things about Pro Plan.
