We are going to pick up our lab pup tomorrow but i still need to buy a crate. My question is how big of a crate should i buy so that when the dog is older, it can still use the same one. I know at first I will put the divider so the pup doesn't piss in one corner and sleep in another. Please advise me on the dimensions of your labs crate...thanks

I have a Pet Porter extra-large. (Casey is 83# to 87#). There is one size larger. The x-large fits him jsut right. Be sure to have a way to block it off for when the puppy is little.

I suggest an XXL wire crate. You should never need to buy one again. One that is wire is easy to slide some pieces of plywood through to block off the dog. My pointer has a XL and it fits him perfectly.
