I don't feed them to my hunting dogs, but my wife gives them to the JRT that lives in the house. I was rushed yesterday when I posted, but apparently the problem comes when a dog gulps down a big chunk of a greenie and it isn't digested and causes a bowel obstruction.

The company says they are safe if you feed the correct size for your dog and the dog chews it well. What dog chews it's food well?

I doubt that we'll be feeding any more either. Anyone know any other options for keeping dog's breath clean?

I've given them to my dog, it keeps her mouth busy. I will certainly hold off giving them to her now though.

When they are on sale I usually buy a bunch of these. I dunno anymore though!! I do like the fresh breath. Thats funny because when i would feed these and pick up after him (fine apartment living) I would notice pretty big parts of the greenie. Kinda gross but now it makes ya wonder. Costco bones from now on!! gotta get out that toothbrush more too.
