RE: dog box plans
duckdog,
How come you don't like the wood box plans? They would be great for insulation. Anyway, I have an aluminum box that I just bought but was sure contemplating a homemade wooden box. My old one is a huge, heavy as can be steel box that I couldn't hardly handle and it has no floor. My new box is way nicer to handle, but I almost built a wooden box.

Everlong,
I just built a two-holer slide-in a couple of weeks ago. Took it birdhunting in KS last week and it worked great. Don't have plans but I could throw together some dimensions for you in Autocadif you'd like.
Email me if you wanna see some pics.

a couple of reasons i dont like wooden boxes.( i have had4 i have built). they weigh more than other( at least mine did but mine were insulated) and they dont last very long at all.. i leave mine in my truck year round and the weather takes its toll on it in just a couple years. any thoughts?
