P51, I have a buddy's place that I hunt on just north of Aspermount south of the Double mOuntain ranch, may be rough country, but it holds some giant deer..

I have seen some big deer on this place but hogs are all I am allowed to shoot.5 guys have paid to lease this place and I was asked not to shoot any deer since I am a guest and thats fine with me I would feel the same way.

Archer County, whitetail and hogs, though there is quail, turkey and quail on this lease.
Going into my second year on this, a bit high on the price but 158 acres to myself, and I took a decent 6pt for my 2nd deer ever last year on opening gun weekend

I lost an 11,000 acre ranch in Archer County on Lake Kickapoo /little Wichita river (sold).I moved to Childress on a 9600 acre place ,for two weeks and it sold (TO THE SAME S.O.B. THAT BOUGHT ARCHER RANCH and it was not even on the market for sale.)What are the odds of that happening ?I hate moving deer leases worse than anything! I have found a ranch in Cottle county 7600acres looks good .(better than setting at home).I will be hunting dove,whitetail and mule deer,lots of hogs,quail,and varmits!Thanks for letting me vent/twist off!

We hunt quail on the LBJ Ranch in Stonewall, Texas. The ranch is in Central Texas between Johnson City and Fredericksburg. We also hunt quail in South Texas around Port Mansfield. We also hunt quail in West Texas around Abilene. We also hunt quail in just about every other part of Texas given a chance.
Oh, if I didn't mention it, WE HUNT QUAIL!! Then we hunt more quail!!

Patch, I hunt just of Graford. On 254 or 1885 same road. Right next to the Road Side park is a gate, it belongs to a friend of mine. And I also hunt in Parker Co. I have a place outside of Poolville on of Lonestar Rd. the road beween Pooville and Whitt.
