Please help.
Myself and 2 friends live here in central Maine. We would like to hunt for feral hog/wild boar sometime this summer. We will drive down to a southern state to do this. Bow and or gun is our preference. We are on somewhat of a limited budget.
We have seen a countless number of websites, but don't have a clue as to where to try. Can someone please suggest a place. Maybe your friend or even you is a guide. We are interested in stand hunting or using dogs. Florida, Georgia, N/S carolina, Virginias, Tennessee, Alabama, etc....................
Please help, we need some FUN!!!! We now have received over 120" of snow this winter, the thought of hunting in hot weather sounds pretty darned good right now.
Thanks, Kev

Now, this place is in Florida on the top side of Lake O. Had alot of people recomend them to me during duck season. I contacted them on line then on the phone. Nice group of guys.
You can hog hunt with them alot of places, $150 for a meat hog and $275 for a trophy hog. Found out by asking what a trophy hog was. It's based on the tusk size of 2"'s or bigger. The size is called before you pull the trigger.
With these guys you can hunt with the following: knife, spear, bow, or any type of gun.
If you want to hunt during the week you only need 1 days notice, week ends are harder you have to schedule accordinly.
I was planing on using them but I got an offer for free after turkey season. If it falls through, I'll use them for my youngest son.
Hope it helps you in your search.

Awesome guys! Thanks for the quick response!
We really aren't going top worry about shooting a trophy. We don't want to shoot a 50 pound hog either. My idea would be to shoot something at least a 100 pounds. I don't care if it has dentures!
I'll give these a try.
Thanks again, Kev

Kev - I highly recommend Ken Moody in Clarkrange Tenn. He has a great place and the hogs are excitable. Some buddies of mine have been going there for several years, I finally went this year and am hooked.

Funny you should mention Clark range, sewer rat.
I have an old video made by Dan Fitzgerald and Bob Foulkrod. It shows them bowhunting at Clark Range in Tenn. It's an awesome video with many kills on wild boar with the bows. Tons of action with dogs running/baying the hogs.
My only problem is the $$. They're too high priced for me.
