texastracker,
During turkey season and bow season you can go where you like, you must sign in and out of the area. There is only so many people allowed in the areas, once it is full you cant get in. Opening day is about the only time its hard to get the area you want. Rifle deer season is not that way, you must go where they tell you, unless you stick to the archery or shotgun areas, then you can go where you like. A bit complicated until you get used to it, let me know if you would like to go on FT. Hood sometime.....

kellyg, so you're hunting Fredricksburg this year? I hunted there 3 years in a row a few years back and man, I've never seen so many deer in all my life! You won't see many b&c racks up that way but you sure will see the deer. Beautiful country also and the town of Fredricksburg sure is a pretty sight in the winter time. Have a goodin' and good luck on your hunting.

I posted a little bit about myself and so on a week or so ago. I just thought that I'd give you Texas folks a look at my homepage in case ya wanted to look at some hunting pictures. I had about 60 pictures on there and it was hard to open so, I scaled it down and kinda have a variety on there. There is also some fishing pictures on page 2.http://groups.msn.com/BowhuntersPictures/shoebox.msnw

Texastracker, yes I hunt in Texas. That 10 pt was taken in Clay Co in N Texas and that bear came from The White Mts in Arizona. Thanks for taking a look tracker.....

Hey Johnny, one of the places is about 15 miles toward Junction where it starts to become West Texas and the other is toward Boerne and is typical Hill Country. I am going to bowhunt the one toward Junction and can hardly wait as I only drew my bow once last year...grumble...grumble.. on what the 8 of us affectionately (not) called the Cow Lease.

BH3D, nice pics but there is one of a funny looking Buck on the second page. There are no antlers and it has long floppy ears...<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
