The hogs on our hunting lease raid the cattle pens at night and eat grain, there is that. Biggest we've killed is 450lb. Wild hogs all have some domestic in them, I believe (except javalinas) at least here in South Texas. The feral hogs around here look like all different sorts of things. At the same stand you might see what look like javalinas almost, coarse grey-brown coat one night and the next night, see some at the same stand that look like farmer Joe forgot to close the gate.

They weight the truck with the hog and then they weigh the truck without the hog and subtract. Believe me farmers are good at that.
