That is down close to Hobart and the Altus/Lugert lake is right there close. If you have time, bring you fishhing poles. Some of our best Walleye and Hybrids come from that lake. Anyway, there is good populations of birds close to Hobart. Some of the land down there is too bare to hold anything but when you find the habitat, you find the birds. They have some big birds down there. Good Luck! Plan on using binoculars alot to help spot the birds from some of the hills in the area. You can see along way on most places down there.

Hey, I live within about 15 miles of Lone Wolf. Well look along the creeks and such. They like it around the large cotton wood trees for roosting, but will roost in about anything. Their are alot of birds around the lake and along the river to the lake. The lake has some public land, but you may want to check the regs. for all the rules on the public lands. The public lands are used alot by guys from Altus Airforce Base. Well if u need any more info. email me at [email protected]
