    i' m coming down to north cen. nc in mid nov. can anyone tell me how the hunting has been in this area?will i make the rut in this area?any info would be appericated.

    What county willyou be hunting?IF you are hunting Caswell county you might as well forget about state land.Dog hunters areruining it there.Plus they will try to run you off.

    Northhampton county is a good area. It has 3.87 antlered bucks per sq.mile. That about the 3rd or 4th densest county in the state.

    BTW we would call that area/county NE NC

    Have a good hunt.
