Ticks in Green Swamp
Beware Greenswamp friends...I was scouting both sides about July 3rd and picked up a tiny deer tick. The next day I had the bull's eye circle about 2 inches in diameter.I scouted West GSand East GS
Being on a limited income going to the doctor is my last resort. Here are my findings..
In FL we rarely get a Lyme disease case...instead we get STARI which is much easier to treat. The anti biotic is something we had on hand so I'm currently taking it. It took the swelling away. I will continue on the anti biotic for 3 weeks. It's called Doxycyline
